FAQs
What is a crown?
Crowns are used to rebuild teeth that have been broken or weakened by decay, root fillings and large fillings. The crown fits over the remaining part of the tooth, making it stronger and giving it the natural shape and contour of a natural tooth.
How long does the treatment take?
You will need 2 appointments, one for preparing the tooth and taking the shade and the second appointment to fit the permanent crown.
What are post crowns?
Post crowns are used when a tooth has been root filled. A post is made to fit inside the tooth and then built in the laboratory. This is made of stainless steel and hold the crown in place.
How much do crowns cost?

The cost of a crown ranges from £495 to £895 depending on which crown is most suitable for you. A written estimation will be given to you after your free cosmetic consultation.
