malmin Specialist Centre was launched to provide practitioners with services that are not readily available within their own practices.
malmin Specialist Centre is a well established, efficient practice that complements the service your practice already provides. Patients will be cared for professionally by our friendly dental team and returned back to the referring dentist upon completion of treatment. At the end of treatment you will recieve a full written letter with appropriate x-rays for your records.
We also encourage referring dentists to come and visit the practice. We will keep referring dentists fully informed of the progress of the patients’ care.

Speciality: Oral Surgery, Sedation
Victoria underwent her postgraduate training in Oral and Maxillofacial departments in several
hospitals in the U.K. She obtained her Fellowship in Dental Surgery from the Royal College of
Surgeons England in 1998. In 2005 Victoria obtained a diploma in dental sedation from Guy's
Hospital. She is currently registered as a specialist oral surgeon with the general dental council
and She is working in general practice which is more oral surgery based.

Speciality: Surgical Dentistry, Implants, Sinus Grafting, Block Grafting
Dr Aghabeigi graduated with first class honours in 1984. He completed two Master of
Science degrees in Oral Pathology and Oral Surgery in addition to a PhD in chronic facial
pain and TMJ arthroscopy. From 1992-1994, he was a clinical fellow at the Harvard Dental
School and University of Chicago Medical Centre. He returned to London in 1994 and
completed his higher surgical training as an Academic Oral Surgeon in 1998 when he was
invited to the academic staff at the EDI as a lecturer and Programme Director of the MSc
course in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.
Since 2003, he has been a consultant/Senior Lecturer in Oral Surgery at Birmingham
Dental Hospital. In addition to his hospital commitments. He also receives referrals for all
aspects of Oral Surgery and Implantology for treatment either under local anaesthesia,
intravenous sedation or general anaesthesia. He is a registered provider of care to the
clients of private insurance companies. Dr Aghabeigi has more than 19 years of experience
in training and practice of Oral Surgery and Oral Implantology with a special interest in
advanced bone grafting techniques. He is a graduate of the Misch International Implant
Institute and a fellow of the International College of Oral Implantologists. His teaching and
academic experience plus his clinical skills have been an invaluable addition to the strong
clinical team at Malmin.

Speciality: Endodontics
Stephen Cawte qualified from the University of Edinburgh in 1988. After graduating he was
commissioned into the Royal Army Dental Corps and served in the UK and overseas.
Seven years later, on completion of his commission, he graduated with an MSc in
Conservative Dentistry from the University of Manchester and spent several years working
in both private and NHS practices and at the Turner Dental School in Manchester. He then
became a resident SHO in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery with East Lancashire Maxillofacial
Service and after two and a half years in this post he accepted the position of Staff Grade
in Restorative Dentistry and Oral Surgery at the Charles Clifford Dental Hospital in Sheffield.
On completion of a three year full-time monospecialty training programme (endodontics) at
the Eastman Dental Institute in London he began work at several practices in London and
at the Royal London Dental Hospital providing endodontic advice and treatment. He is
registered as a Specialist in Endodontics with the General Dental Council.

Speciality: Orthodontics
Robert Mordecai qualified from the Welsh National School of medicine in 1972 and spent
several years in junior hospital appointments and then general practice before specialising in
orthodontics at the Royal Dental Hospital in London.
Having obtained the diploma in orthodontics of the Royal College of surgeons of England,
Dr. Robert, joined the staff first at Kings College Hospital and then Guy’s Hospital London.
Whilst at Guy’s he obtained both his fellowship in Dental Surgery, of the Royal College of
surgeons of Edinburgh and (then) his membership in orthodontics of The Royal College of
Surgeons of London.
Over a period spanning twenty years at Guy’s Dr. Robert Mordecai was promoted to Senior Lecturer and Consultation Orthodontics and was very involved in teaching both undergraduate and post-graduate students who also wished to specialise in orthodontics. Dr. Mordecai was an examiner of the University of London and a member of many professional societies as well as being on the Editorial Board of the British Journal of Orthodontics.
